The Society welcomed a new Chairman, Martin Levy FSA, (right) at its AGM held on Saturday 4 November at Sotheby's Institute in Bedford Square, by kind permission of the Director. He succeeds Robert Wilson (left), who has stood down after six years but will remain on the Events and Grants Sub-Committees.
The well attended meeting included presentations on the recent Study Tour to Romania by Max Donnelly (V&A) and on the collection at Portsmouth Museum from Susan Ward. It also heard of the launch of the new design of the website www.decorativeartssociety.org.uk and of the publication of the 2017 Journal No 41 which has been issued to all members.
