Zoom lecture by Matthew Winterbottom, at 6.00 pm (London). The lecture will describe a ground-breaking exhibition and research project that will challenge widely held perceptions that the Victorian age was dark and gloomy. Paintings, sculptures, furniture, textiles, and jewellery by major Victorian artists and designers will show that this was in fact one of the most colourful periods in British history.
All DAS members whose email addresses we have will be sent a link to the lectures. Please do share the link with anyone you think will be interested. If you think we may not have an email address for you and would like to take part please contact the Membership Secretary, firstname.lastname@example.org
