Dr Rory O’Donnell FSA, a published expert on Catholic church architecture, will lead this visit to Westminster Cathedral (1895–1910), the masterwork of the architect J.F. Bentley, in his ‘Italo-Byzantine’ style. Later artists include J.S. Sargent, Eric Gill, Gilbert Pownall, Boris Anrep, Robert Weir Schultz and Ernest Gimson; and since 1995, Tom Phillips, C. Hobbs, Ifor Davies and John Maddison. There is work by Pugin & Omar Ramsden in the Sacristy and Treasury exhibition. Tea is included. The group will be limited to 20.
