An opportunity has arisen to visit ‘Styled by Design’, an exhibition of 20th Century modernist textiles including those by Henry Moore (‘Two Standing Figures’), Barbara Hepworth, Pablo Picasso, Ben Nicholson and Elizabeth Frink. They worked with Ascher Ltd, Edinburgh Weavers and the other manufacturers who were bringing contemporary art into the home. The exhibition is being organized by Gray M.C.A. at Cromwell Place, London SW7. The curator and DAS member, Ashley Gray, will lead a tour for DAS members at 2pm on April 26. An additional event during the exhibition is a panel discussion on the ‘Coventry Cathedral Panel’. This will take place at Cromwell Place on Thursday, 20 April, at 6.30pm. Details for tickets to attend in person or online via www.graymca.com
