DAS ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS, MUSEUM OF THE HOME, LONDON

This year the AMM returns to the Museum of the Home, whose purpose is to reveal the ways we live and think about home. In 2024 it opened seven new installations exploring the period from 1878 to 2049, ending with its Innovo Room of the Future. There will be plenty of opportunity to visit the museum, which is free and open from 10.00 to 17.00.
The formal proceedings will start at 11.00 and be followed by talks from recipients of recent DAS grants: Emily Lashford on the Silk Museum’s 150 Years of the Macclesfield School of Art, Heather Stracey on the Tunbridge ware project at the Amelia, and Mary Greensted on Court Barn Museum and its Ashbee cabinet project.
The Report of the Trustees and the Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2026 will be posted on the Society’s website under ‘Accounts’ in the ‘About’ section no later than one week before the AMM.
The AMM is from 11.00 to 14.00. Attendance at the AMM is free but and the cost for lunch and drinks is £25. There will be a booking link to follow. If lunch is not desired, please register for security reasons with Martin Webster, Chairman of the Events sub-committee.
