GRANTS & BURSARIES

Grants and bursaries are awarded from the DAS’s 40th Anniversary Fund. This fund is used to support and further the aims of the DAS in promoting and developing the understanding and appreciation of the decorative arts from 1850. The DAS offers bursaries for research travel, assists museums to acquire items for their collections, and awards at least two annual Collections Access Grants per year.

In 2015 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its founding the DAS established, thanks to the generosity of its members, a fund from which to award various grants and bursaries.

At the moment the DAS awards three different types of grants and bursaries:

See the separate pages on each of these grants and bursaries for more details and information on how to apply. The Trustees will also consider applications for other grants from the 40th Anniversary Fund that fall within the parameters of the interests of the DAS.
