THE MYERS COLLECTION OF WILLIAM MORRIS TILES AT KINGHAMS AUCTIONEERS, GLOUCESTERSHIRE

This will be a wonderful opportunity to view the exceptional Myers Collection of William Morris tiles before it goes on sale, and to see rarely displayed works by William De Morgan from private collections. Our visit to Kinghams Auctioneers will include a private handling session of the collection assembled by Richard and Hilary Myers with leading specialist Michael Jeffery, followed by a private view of an exhibition of works by William De Morgan, which will include 100–150 pieces from private collections. Attendees will receive as part of their visit a copy of William Morris Tiles: The Tile Designs of Morris and His Fellow-Workers by Richard and Hilary Myers, as well as a copy of the catalogue for the De Morgan exhibition.
