STUDY TOUR TO OSLO, NORWAY

FOREIGN STUDY TOUR

Mon 01 Jun 2026

Over the last 20 years, massive investment has been made to transform the city of Oslo, with numerous cultural developments including the new National Museum with its extensive Decorative Arts collection. Our 5-day tour will explore new and older aspects of Oslo’s cultural heritage, including the functionalist City Hall, the Folkemuseum, the Royal Summer Palace, modern architecture on the restored waterfront (Opera House, Munch Museum, Deichmann Library) and sculpture at Vigeland Park and Ekebergparken. We will also venture out of Oslo to visit Villa Stenersen and the ‘Twist’ at Kistefos.

Please contact Martin Webster, Chairman of the Events sub-committee if you are interested in receiving details of this visit.
