LONDON GLASSBLOWING: DEMONSTRATION AND LECTURE WITH PETER LAYTON

Peter Layton, a pioneer of British studio glass, founded London Glassblowing 50 years ago. Join Peter for an engaging artist talk followed by a tour of the exhibition, `50 Years of London Glassblowing’, which highlights the work of 40 artists including current residents at London Glassblowing, cherished guests and pioneers from Peter’s earlier studios. We will then be invited into the glassblowing studio for a seated live demonstration by Peter himself. This is a rare opportunity to see the creative process up close, ask questions and gain insight into decades of glassmaking expertise. We will celebrate a remark-able journey from the early days of British studio glass to today’s thriving gallery.
