DAS ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS, TOYNBEE HALL, LONDON
UK EVENT
Sat 15 Nov 2025
This year the AMM will be held at Toynbee Hall. Established in 1884, the building is designed in the Tudor-Gothic style. The dining room was designed by C.R. Ashbee, who came to Toynbee Hall in 1886 to teach classes on Ruskin.
The formal proceedings will start at 11.00 and be followed by talks from Roisin Inglesby (William Morris Gallery) on her research for the upcoming exhibition Hand, Heart and Machine: Craft in the Age of Automation, Matthew Winterbottom (Ashmolean Museum) on recent gifts to the museum by DAS Patrons Barrie and Deedee Wigmore, and Joshua Mackarell (Williamson Art Gallery, Birkenhead) on two recent ceramic acquisitions. We will have our usual raffle.
Attendance at the AMM is free (there is a £25 charge for lunch and drinks to be booked via a link that will be sent to members via mailchimp at the end of September to book). If lunch is not desired, please register for security reasons with Sarah Nichols.
