The AGM will be held in a new venue this year. The Chapel at 83 Margaret Street was designed by G.E. Street in 1860 with stained glass by Clayton & Bell, a fresco behind the altar by J.R. Clayton, an elaborate tiled dado and encaustic-tiled floor. The formal proceedings will be followed by talks from recipients of recent DAS grants: Roisin Inglesby on Within the Reach of All: The Century Guild, the exhibition which she curated at the William Morris Gallery, and Dr Rory O’Donnell on Pugin and Ushaw College. There will be the traditional raffle in aid of DAS funds and a buffet lunch with wine (for which there is a charge).
The Report of the Trustees and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2021 will be discussed at the AGM. It is now available to view or download on the Accounts page.
