The British Airways Heritage Collection has existed since the formation of British Airways, over 100 years ago. During that time, air travel has changed beyond all recognition, from the aircraft to the uniforms. This makes for a wonderful catalogue of yesteryear, displaying material from BOAC, BEA, BSAA and the pre-war Imperial Airways Limited as well as British Airways, and also memorabilia and artefacts including posters, uniforms and aircraft cabin objects. Our visit will include a short lecture introduction and a guided tour followed by tea.
The visit is from 13.30 to 15.00 and the cost is £20. Please contact Martin Webster, Chairman of the Events sub-committee if you would like a place on this visit.
