MUSEUM ACQUISITIONS

The DAS is prepared to support publicly-funded museums in acquiring objects for their collections which fall within the categories and timescale covered by the Society.  Normally no more than half the purchase price would be contributed and no grant would exceed £2000.  The Society is particularly keen to support smaller museums with limited access to funds.

How to Apply: applications should include detailed information on the object with image, its significance for your institution and how it will be used, how the purchase price will be raised and any other relevant information.

Deadline for Application: Applications should be sent to Sarah Nichols, Chair of the DAS Grants Committee, at chairdas@gmail.com, who is happy to respond to any queries.
