TURIN: PUBLIC AND PRIVATE COLLECTIONS

A five-day tour of public and private collections is planned for late September, led by Harriet Landseer. In addition to the great palaces of the House of Savoy with which we associate Turin, the city hosted the first International Exhibition of Modern Decorative Arts in 1902 and was one of the major sites of the ‘Liberty’ style. There are eclectic 19th-century monuments and 20th-century collections to explore.
